Default A C5 Z06 for only 12K!?!

While browsing the Craigslist ads I came across what appears to be a nice 02 Z06 judging from the pics. Not much info given about the car and only 2 pictures but seller says it has 29K miles and in "good" condition. Of course we would love to know more about the car but man this would be one heck of a deal for someone if everything checked out fine. What you guys think?

Craigslist is full of fraud, but you never know. For $12k if you live close to New Orleans it'd sure be worth a look!

Yes you never know what you gonna get with CL. Def work a look a though, I live about an hour away if I had the time I'd check it out just for the hell of it even though I'm not looking to buy.

If it's real it must be a swimmer (flood car)

Does seem very fishy to me - no way that car should be worth only $12K unless there are some major problems with it - like a flood car.

It's a scam, it's listed in many different cities across America , I emailed them, they replied with the typical scammer email

Being near New Orleans, it could certainly be an undeclared flood car that had damage not claimed with insurance and accordingly, not a branded title.

If it's really a good car- it should already be sold.

if it's still available, you've got to figure that a number of smart people have already looked and passed for good reason.

EDIT: just read the last couple posts . . . .if it looks too good to be true . . ..

Here's the response I got:

As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced and I got a new job and just moved to Baton Rouge, LA for a fresh start, I'm from New Jersey. The car is already at the shipping company in Vineland, NJ sealed and ready for the shipping. My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with eBay. All you have to pay is $12,000, the car will be delivered at your address in 5 days and you will have it for 5 days so you can inspect it. Once you have the car inspected and decided to keep it, you will confirm your decision to eBay and only then they will re-route the money in to my account, but if by any reason, you won't be satisfied with the car you can return it back for a full refund of your money. I will take care of the shipping back, don't worry, but I'm sure you'll love it at first sight. You will receive the car with all the necessary papers notarized by a legal attorney to pass under your name (clear title, bill of sale, user’s manual, insurance etc).

"My presence won't be necessary", LOL! Classic!

A good rule of thumb: Only do business face to face.

I doubt it. They are most likely in west Africa or somewhere else where they can't be touched.

Free shipping, free returns and even includes insurance. All while selling the car for 50% of market value. What a deal
