Default 99 MN6 : Dexron III or Dexron IV?

No problem to use Dexron VI on my 99 C5 Mn6 ?

No problem, and it can even be mixed with Dexron III.

Only in automatic transmission applications....DO NOT use Dex VI in a manual transmission!!

1997 to 2000 C5s use paper blocker rings. Not all synthetic ATFs are compatable. Mobil 1 is not. Amsoil ATF or ATD is. I used Amsoil ATD.

damn... GM France told me that the Dexron III isn't available anymore !
They told me : now, it's Dexron VI !

Dexron III is available at any auto parts store...Go with Valvoline or another name brand fluid....
