Default (pLots of Pics) LCC Show n Shine, Austin Texas

My local club had our annual show n shine today. The show is open to all makes and models of cars. Here are some of the pictures that I shot.

A gorgeous Firebird that Texas Corvette Association (TCA) will be raffling off at the spring show in Bourne next year.

I'm not sure what was going on here. This coyote sure looked real.

A 69 and 70 Camaro.

My daughter in the Camaro.

My neice in a new Z06.

Some tough competition.

Tom and Mary from TomZ Wheels.

Toms truck.

Toms Camaro.

A 61 Impala with a 409 and Mary's C5 in the background.

A 63 Split window coupe (which I neglected to get a front shot of)

Maverick's award winning C5 coupe.

Bill and his 55 Nomad. I had never met Bill before today. He is one
of those people that you meet and feel instantly at ease with. He
seems like a really great guy. He let my daughter and I sit in his
Nomad. He won best in class and best in show awards.

I was there too. Good looking bunch of cars. The red '70 model Z28 next to the orange '69 Z28 belongs to my neighbor. I walked past the '62 with the coyote tied to the bumper and didn't realize it was a coyote, much less a stuffed one. I thought it was just an old skinny dog standing guard. Since Austin is always in the spotlight can we give Georgetown some credit for having a cool car show since it was held here at Wolf Ranch and we have so few events? As a future C5 owner I met some really nice folks there who were more than willing to answer any question I had. Nice pics.

Hey Nouman,
Tom and Mary are very nice and were fun to meet. The Texas Longhorns played at 2:30. They invited us to watch the game on a TV in the back of Mary's car.

I went to the show early to help. I was half asleep and stopped at a drive through ATM at 6:30AM. As I was leaving, I rashed right rear wheel. Another good thing about CCWs is that I know I can fix them.

Great job with the pictures Larry. Lots of gorgeous cars

It was cool being there as part of the club. But, damn it's hard
work!!!

Got home in time for the start of the second half of the game. As
expected, OSU gave them all the wanted. They better be ready to
play next week!!!

George

I voted for both of those Camaros. The guy with the 69 Camaro's name is Bruce. He lives in Georgetown and also owns a 03 Z06.
