Default Typical MPG auto 4 in the city??

I know that the MPG ratings are 16/26 on an C5 automatic but what is realistic values for city driving. I currently own an Audi TT with an 3.2 w/6speed and its rated 18/25 but i normally get 15.8mpg around town in it and on the open road i get as high as 30.1mpg.

I dont live in a big city, but it all depends on how much you put your foot into it. On flats my vette will get 30 plus MPG, on average driving to work and back with foot into it, about 23, and that includes a lot of short city driving just to cruise around. On a trip from fairbanks to anchorage i got overall of 26, would have been more but its a very hilly trip.

I usually get 16ish city, but I know it would be better if I stopped treating every light like a tree...

Im not really looking to buy an vette for flat out racing so im not all that knocked up on getting an Z06 over the base model. I just like the look of them in general and how efficient they are on MPG for a V8. Im looking for an auto because ive had knee surgery and it kills me going down town in the stop and go traffic. I might beef her up a little with a pair of heads and tune because i heard the C5 base model heads are the weak spot of the engine but other then that i just looking for one to enjoy and cruise around in, in style

22.7 to 23 city; 28 to 30 highway. Around town I drive like a senior citizen most of the time, but I do like to swing the backend on the u-turns with a little extra right pedal now and then.

My car gets as good, if not a bit better mileage than your Audi, but quite a bit depends on how you drive!

If I drive like a responsible driver and keep my foot out of the radiator, I've gotten 18-23 mpg in the city. If I drive it like I stole it, let's just say 525 rwhp will dip into your miles per gallon.................but adds a WHOLE lot to the Smiles per gallon!

My highway mileage has been as high as 33 mpg on the dic . It figured on paper to be around 30 mpg. Still Very good mileage.

I have an FLP Level IV trans/Yank SY3500 converter and 3.42 gears, and a supercharger, so to say that I'm Happy about my mileage would be an understatement!

I'm about the same too. I get around 19 to 21 in town ( I have a little more trouble keeping my foot out of it at lights too) and we just got back from a trip to Texas down 71 Hiway and I averaged about 29 on the highway. Not too bad considering...

Default Mpg

I get 20/30. Seven mile trips to work in light traffic in town and 70mph on I-35 when I leave town. Stock 2004, but I would of never believed this kind of mileage.

A4, mostly stock, 2.73 gears, 2000 coupe. Gets about 14-15 city, normal driving, 28-29 on highway, and with us, gets overall average 22.5 to 23mpg. Hope that helps some.

When my car was stock with 3.15 rear end - I normally get 16 city driving and 24-25 highway or about 20 mpg - 70% city and 30% highway. But after 3.42 rear end - it went down to about 15-15 but mostly 15 mpg city - not sure about highway. Then I got the headers -now I average about 14-15 city - well just because my foots on the pedal more
