I believe they are a colder plug than the Delco. I have been running NGK for the last 5 years in every LS motor I have/had.

I just switched mine out a week or so ago. Tell you the truth, I had NGK in my last 02 Z06 & didnt really notice a difference.... so this time I stayed with what the General ordered. Car runs great & the red wires loook great!

I run the NGK plugs. I replace them around every 20k to 25k. They are cheap, good quality, and readily available at O'Reilly Auto. I paid about 1.60 a plug for just the V-power TR-55 (stock no. 3951).

If you run nitrous or a hot heads and cam setup try the TR6 (stock no. 4177).

Me too. You should have seen gaps the stock ones after 45000 miles. Yikes.

NGK. I have said it before and I will say it again, NGK is the only spark plug that has survived in my motocross bike for multiple motos. 2 or 4 stroke. Thats 12500 rpm give or take. I am a believer.

Hi there:
If your vette is stock use the a/c delco iridiums gapped to .040 right out of the box.If not return them.

That's what I did when I changed them on my last car. Worked very well.

I tried bosche fusion plugs (4 ground straps)about 6 months ago wrote a thread about their performance in a nutshell, basically the problem with these plugs as there are four ground straps that run parallel to the porcelain insulator, and as such the spark is supposed to jump to one of the ground straps but what happened was the spark over a period of time, carbon tracked down the porcelain insulator so instead of the spark occuring at the tip of the spark plug it was occuring deeper inside the plug causing stumbling and rough idle. They sounded good on paper and I thought they would work fine I had posted my intentions and got a face full of s#*t most said they were snake oil and or a gimmick and guess what they were right ...stick with delcos or NGK everybody can't be wrong

I recently changed out my Delco plugs with Bosch Platinum+2. I also upgraded my plug wires at the same time. I noticed smoother idiling and acceleration and better gas milage.
