You'll need to fill out your profile. Some members won't answer questions unless you fill it out. At worst you'll get bad advice for the wrong model year

What year do you own. Also is your Vette HVAC or manual? Not sure but it may make a difference.

Blower Motor Replacement
Removal Procedure

1. Remove the I/P lower insulator panel - RH. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Caution
Unplug the blower motor before removal. Blower motor case contact with any ground may start the fan and cause personal injury.
2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.

3. Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube from the HVAC module.
4. Remove the blower motor retaining screws.
5. Remove the blower motor from the HVAC module.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the blower motor to the HVAC module.
Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
2. Install the blower motor retaining screws. Tighten the screws to 1.7 N•m (15 lb in).
3. Connect the blower motor cooling tube to the HVAC module.
4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
5. Install the I/P lower insulator panel - RH. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Thanks. Got it apart. I was pushing at the wrong spot on the connector. The diagram helped. Found a nest of mice and shredded cloth and paper in it. The car had been up for the winter and when I started it up, sounded like rocks in the blower.

I just got back from 6 weeks in England. Was in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Took about 2 weeks to get used to driving on the "other side". Saw one 'vette in Ipswich one day, a blue coupe.

Always wondered how a mouse or mice can get into a closed sealed car ?

I could see them doing something in the engine compartment, but inside the car

I don't know either, but I had the exact same thing.
And I keep a box of moth ***** under the car at all times.
I just spent a whole day cleaning my garage and throwing out a lot of useless crap. So far I have taken care of three mice.
My blower was cleaned and three weeks later it was clogged again.
Now it's apart again with more moth *****, two of those sonic things nearby with one in the car when parked, and several traps/bait.
On the up side my garage has not been this clean in a long time.
