Default Exit seat feature stopped.

Noticed today that when I turned off the car to get out and removed the key the seat did not go back. Steering wheel moved but seat did not. Any Ideas ??

Hows your battery? Did you lose your memory settings. You should be able to turn Easy Entry back on in the options on the DIC

Agree.....I've seen other posts where the memory settings get screwed up because of issues with the battery.

I'd think that would be a strange since I had my battery completely disconnected while installing HIDs. The only thing I lost while having it disconnected for two days was the time on the radio. All seat settings, radio stations, etc were saved still set.

Any idea why Easy Entry would default to off?

None at all.

The only time I've had the easy out feature not function is when I have opened the door before pulling out the key.

Good place to start.

Not to ask a stupid questions but does the seat return to the "memorized" position if you manually run it back then use the memory button on the door to reset?
