Default Carbon Fiber Windshield Cowl

Guys,
I originally purchased the carbon fiber windshield cowl overlay from Ecklers. It showed up with scratches under the clear coat and when contacted they explained they were all like that. I returned the piece and ordered the replacement piece from Pat Scorzetti. It is high quality and a gorgeous replacement piece. Install was done in 10 minutes and looks great. Fit was perfect! I highly recommend Pat to anyone looking for carbon fiber accents for their car!! Thanks again Pat!

Good to hear about a better result.

Do you have any other actual carbon fiber pieces and how does it look compared to actual CF?

I ordered my cowl from Pat as well and love it. His work is extremely professional and service is excellent. Most of my engine bay is "real" CF but I would challenge anyone to tell the difference. Excellent Vendor - Great Product.

That's good. I've been interested but I do not want to have a mis match with the rest of the CF that I already have

Just received mine today from Pat... it looks AWESOME!

I have never seen the CF Hydrographic treatment in person - just photos - but this looks even better than I expected (and based on many forum posts I had fairly hight expectations).

As soon as my wiper arms come in and everything is installed, I will post pics.

Nice that you found a better quality piece out there, but sad that Ecklers would just say they are all like that. Sounds like their purchasing department isn't too picky about the products they buy.

It was the people that Ecklers actually get the product from that said they "are all like that".
