hello yes i had a 2003 zo6 and now i have a 2002 zo6 ,they both shift like crap, meaning when i shift from lets say 1st. to 2nd and third gear ,its never really smooth, the 2003 had 6000 miles and my 2002 has 3000 miles, its like i better take my time shifting or maybe hurt the transmission, its like i have to make sure its in gear, just not smooth,is this a common problem and can it be fixed ?
These trannys are all "notchy" .. Nature of the beast.. Many folks have changed to a good synthetic trans fluid and changing the clutch fluid using ragners method.. Hope this helps

I have the B&M ripper shifter.I did the 'Anti-Venom" mod( 2 washers),used RP fluid and pulled the boot off and made sure all metal parts were lubed well with Dupont Teflon Dry-Wax Lube.
Has good solid feel and that classic "snic-snic" sound.
Youve been helped! I did the same thing as the rest of the guys above. Royal Purple, and an aftermarket shifter. I got the B&M also. Theres nothing wrong with your tranny until you are grinding going into gear. Then your fork might be bent or worn out.
