C5 Corvette with 66 Cobra body!

A truly great job of engineering and fabricating. The exhaust routing is truly a neat solution to several Cobra problems.
When will you be offering the kit??
Whose body did you use??
After all the positive comments, I do have to say that I don't like the color much. But each to his own.
Really awesome car!!!

I am turning my passion into a business and am offering my cars as kits or to any point of completion that a customer might want. I recently hired my body/paint man full time and we are working out of my 7 bay garage. Thankfully I have invented a few simple things that give me my real income!
I have three different body designs that can be had on my chassis. I actually am building a Cobra out for a customer now and have a couple of orders for my Dragon Speedster. Obviously I am a VERY small business. My kits/cars are more expensive than say a Factory Five car that uses Mustang parts. Just like a Corvette is more expensive than a Mustang.
I have a friend that owns a Cobra replica business. (Shell Valley) His cars use a fiberglass molded tub bonded to the body and then bolted onto a ladder frame that uses Mustang suspension.
He makes the body "skin" for me to my specs. (Hand laid and light!) I also buy the Cobra specific windshield and trim pieces from him.
The laws in the state that you reside in will determine how the car is registered. Alot of states allow the car to be registered as the year it most closely resembles. Others title new but waive current emmissions. California issues 500 specialty exemptions per year. Sometimes there are some hoops to jump through but I don't know of any that weren't able to be legally licensed and registered.

I love doing special projects. So, if any body has a dream car that they want to build that could use one of my chassis I would like to help. I can sculpt a body or work with something that you have.
I also am working on an all wheel drive version. The Vette spindles will take drvie axles and I can turn the rear diff into a front diff! I also have engineered a way to use the Vettes transaxle in a midengine configuration with out an extended wheelbase. The sky is the limit. Here is a picture of my Dragon Speedster which uses a similiar chassis but with the stock C5 wheelbase and truck. And, a 23 T bucket inspired truck on the Cobra chassis.
