My clearcoat is failing in places and the aluminum beneath is corroding. My plan is to strip the wheels and repolish them myself, but I want to have them re-clearcoated as opposed to pulling the wheels off every now and then to repolish them. Thoughts?

High polished wheels mostly suck, I have a set on my truck......polish once a month and never get the real shine, clear coating can't contain them, and after you spend bucks to fix them, you'll have to do it again in few months

SOLUTION:

Buy chrome-plated wheels- no polishing, no corrosion, and no problems...

You can clean them with Windex!
