Default Tire Shine

Minor question: What do you use to shine the sidewalls of your tires?
My other car, a Saab, had a three inch cracks in 2 tires which are only three years old. The tire store asked me if I use ArmorAll which they said could cause tires to dry out and crack. I've used various foams and sprays except Armor All.
Don't want to harm my new Michelins on the C5.
Any brand recommendations?

Thanks!

Soap and water, I do not like shiny tires. Never noticed a cracked tire on any vehicle.
If you want somewhat shiny, I've heard good things about the 303 mentioned.

303 leaves a clean, natural look, not shiny and it protects from UV. I don't care for the fake shiny tire look either.

If you are looking for a more natural black look (not as much "shine") - try Griots Vinyl & Rubber Dressing: https://www.griotsgarage.com/product...e=&from=Search

For lots of shine:

https://www.ammonyc.com/shop/ammo-mud-tire-gel/

AMMO Mud is a close second to Carpro Perl if you are not into shiny tires but want something that will protect and have that nice sheen, and wont FLING like the eagle/black magic gloss stuff

I prefer mud to Perl because you don't have to mix it and AMMO smells awesome. I am by no means an Ammo fanboy but the MUD is awesome.
Also get the Adams Tire hex applicator it's the perfect combo.

Griots is awesome stuff-you can put on more coats to make it shinier with no gooping. But the Chadwicks stuff is excellent as well! (Gotta try that KY tho )

I agree 100% !!!
this stuff might just be better than the yellow stuff (did I say that out loud ???) It makes everything better, I use it on seats, door panels you name it !!!! If you think not on seats ?? after using it on them for three years, last winter I had to repair my rocking seat and was amazed at how new and pliable my leather was !!!!!!
