Slideshow of $200K plus 1963 Resto-Mod
The interior was done from Stingray leather. Note the headliner. No expense was spared on this baby. If case some of you 427 guys were wondering, headers and intake are good for 40HP. The suspension is incredible,,,how does 3.5" endlinks grab you!
The slideshow really didn't do this car justice so I posted fullsize pics
YOU REALLY COULDN"T SEE THE STINGRAY HEADLINER IN THE SLIDESHOW
FOR YOU PURISTS OUT THERE,,,,,,IT WAS NOT A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR!

I'm not a fan of keeping a car stock by any means (I've easily spent 10k or more on mods for my car) and I've got a C3 with a 400 small block, but to do that to a 63 split window coupe is just a crime.

Is that the car the Pages were building in Purcell?

as far as restomoding a car, it would be a shame to do it to a really good car, but maybe it was a bad driver. I've considered just getting a beater Vette from some non appreciative dude, and tubing, and tubbing it into a drag car....

I say it depends on the car. I have a 63, all original, 1950 miles on it. I finally sold it because it was too much responsibility! But when you find one that is otherwise doomed to a slow death, and to turn it into a work of art, that is really great. Nice job.

After viewing the shot of the dashboard I was expecting to see George, Jane, Judy and Elroy somewhere in the photo spread. Straight out of Spacely Sprockets.
Then I saw the double barrel pointing at the back of the occupants heads from under the rear windows.
A LOT of skill and great looking workmanship from the photos. Not something I would consider doing myself, but then I don't have two hundred grand to pee away.
