99% of all cars will DROP in value... They will continue to DROP every year.. thats just the way it is... Just enjoy your car.. or cut your losses and sell now.. because next year it will be worth even less.. That is just reality.

Wow, make me think my 2003 with 37k miles on it has a lot of miles and I overpaid...................I have never seen that many low mileage cars anywhere.

Meh,
Not worried about it. Corvettte is a name brand in, and of, itself. There was, and always will be a CORVETTE.
Now onto the original question....my guess would be to say that our prices will start to stabilize when our buddy NOBAMA kills off performance for everything going green. Demand will go up, thus prices will go up...OR stabilize.

I think you are off on your figures 15k for 30k miles car those are going in the 20s
I just sold my 98 with 140k miles, broken a/c and pad paint for 11k a couple months ago and it was the cheapest one on the market at the time.

LOL yeah its eye candy to Corvette enthusiast! Also across the street is H&H Corvettes, were I got my extremely low mileage '01 Vert.
I know, my now 40K '01 seems like a lot of miles.

I'd find that highly unlikely. If GM sells off the vette, they may as well close up shop. They'd be selling their livelihood...their pride and joy. I'd think it'd be one of the last things on the list left to chop if they had to.

In other words, it's difficult to get similar performance from a C4 that you get with Bolt-on C5s. Not so difficult to get a C5 to outperform a C6. We are talking straight line and twisties here.
There are also some aspects of the C5 that I think outshine the C6. The foremost in my mind is the DIC and being able to read trouble codes. Price is another.
I'd still love to have a C6---if the values drop in 10 years like the C5s, I'll pick one up.
I bought my C5 3 years ago for 14k. It had 82k on the clock. In some ways I'd rather have one that was driven than one that sat. I've had a few kinks, but it's been a very reliable car (knock on wood).
