Default clutch replacement cost?

I'm thinking about putting in a new clutch, perhaps an LS7 or similar, and am curious about the cost. I'd also like to replace the clutch slave cylinder while I'm at it... I've heard several quotes that have been all over the board, and was wondering what prices you guys have paid. I'm more curious about the labor cost than the parts, but will take all the info i can get. Thanks for the help!

quote with parts included or just labor? Most reputable shops charge around $700 for labor and $800 if you have headers because of the additional work. I guess you can include the price of the parts you chose and come up with a close total of the cost to replace.

I spent $1700 on my 0z700 installed and I think it was worth every penny. Had my car back the very Next day.. Thanks To ECS

I paid 525 for labor on my clutch install which included new slave and remote bleeder (not parts). I thought that was a great deal.

LS7 for street use and track is fine. If you plan on making over 500hp to the rear LS7 may not be the best choice. I have an LS7 and track the car quite a bit with no issues.
