I guy in our Corvette Club has one, it does look black from far away, but changes to green close up.
This color was dedicated to a Paint Spray Supervisor who retired and did not move to Bowling Green when they moved the Plant.

My first Vette was a 2000 DBGM vert. I loved the car and hated to trade it in for a newer vette with fewer miles. I had more compliments in the DBGM then in my Mag Red. I have friends that swore my car was black. In a way I wish I still had it, it would be paid off but it would probably have 150,000 miles on it. Enjoy the car.

My DBGM 2000
I liked the color so much, I got one with flawed paint planning to correct it later. I'll get around to it eventually. No discount for the flaw.

I think its the best color! I also have DBGM w/ black interior the BEST combo!! There is one not to far with grey interior Either is pretty rare though cause most have the oak or tan color.

I have also heard many times, "Is this a custom paint job?"
DBGM seems to be much more rare on the west coast than east coast, so a lot of people, including long-time Corvette owners, rarely see it.

I think we have the only DBGM in the state of Indiana. I heard there is another one somewhere in the state but have never seen it. I was told by a friend in FL that there are alot of them in that state.
The one guy on here was correct when he said people think it is black in certain light and as thay walk up they realize it's green. A friend painted the FRC's for me and they are an exact match to the car.
