Cortlandt Manor? I am in Peekskill and I know how you feel!
Great...maybe we'll meet at Dunkin Donuts on 202 on Tuesday nights or Cortlandt Town Center on Sat. nights IF IT EVER STOPS RAINING. I'm in a torch red vert.
HMMMMM...drive Corvette in rain or drive Corvertte in garage?
Had mine 3 years, driven in rain many times. No evidence of melting, many smile miles. Good excuse to wash and wax.
Head south to Texas. After a few weeks of 100 degree temperatures and no rain, you won't mind getting your car wet.
How's about 130 degrees like we have here just now?
The pavement is too hot to walk on and the vette roof may
as well be welded on as it ain't coming off until October
All those hours just to admire it in your garage. That's cool. I can think of a lot cheaper garage ornaments. You shoulda bought a poster if you weren't gonna drive it. Mine sees daily duty in all weather. Yes snow has been thrown in to the mix a couple times as well. In fact I drove home from De_Vette's house in a snow storm.
Mine has not melted,,,from the rain OR the heat!! I however almost melted today in a father son golf tournament,,108 heat index!!Had a blast with my youngest son,,we took the FRC out there!! I HAVE found this past week that my silver foil/bubble wrap center windshield sun shade is PRICELESS!! Pewter car with BLACK interior,,,man does that shade help!!!
Same here;
One or two days of sun followed by two or better weeks of rain.
It's been this way since the snow left, we had only one above 80 degree day and it's been in the 60s since.
I agree the rain isn't all that bad, though, where I live, I'm two miles into the woods on a dirt road, I'll wait until I see the sun!
