Today on the River Road...Grafton Illinois
Well today I washed and wiped down the drop top. Then went inside and told my girlfriend to get ready and lets go for a ride. It was a beautiful day here in the St. Louis metro area...mid 80's....We took about a 3 hr cruise up and down the river road and saw ALOT of fellow vette owners out doing the same thing..the WAVES were plenty!!!!!!!! from boths sides of the road...just in case there were any fellow members out today..........I was in the 3x black drop top....

That's a great drive, scenic, plenty to do and nice roads. Our club has been down there a couple of times.
There are lots of nice blacktops down in that area too, nice and twisty.
Look me up some time and we will meet you at "The Palace"!!

WOW,, a bit jealous,, we did manage to take our out for breakfast,,but spent the day in the back yard,trimming trees,getting the yard spruced up and getting the pool fit for human occupation(could have used it for the last 10 days with the sweat box weather we've had)! This has been the first day for a while that would have been worthy of a cruise,since we went straight from cool and wet to hot and humid. You picked a great day for top down running!!
