Default HYDRO or REAL or BOTH?

There seems to be an ongoing thing here about REAL or HYDRO. They do play nice together.
Here are some examples where the hydro cf and real carbon work well together.

Or all hydro

If I send you a part (alternator cover) can you cover it with real carbon? I prefer the non-angular style as opposed to the one you are offering.

And do you offer real carbon fluid caps for the C5?

I do not have caps for the fluid reservoirs. If you send me your alt. cover I will make you one in real CF. I'm assuming yours is more rounded.

The hydro carbon looks good but I like the real carbon fiber a lot more.

Real CF is nice for what it is but, the price difference is staggering from what I have seen from other vendors. It's not like you are making the car worse by going with hydro.

I love my Hydro CF Brake Duct Scoops! After 7000 miles, they're holding up very well; chipped far less than I expected them to (but they still have chips... they aren't bulletproof after all). Pat does great work!

Hey Jason...is that snow on the garage floor?
The brake scoops look great I am finally doing a set for myself. Anybody have the template for cutting the rocker panels?

Yup, that's snow / slush all over the tires and on the floor. I had the car backed out of the garage in order to move it to the opposite side. That's the ONLY time I ever drive the Vette in the snow.

its so hard to find real carbon parts and when you do the price is unreal on some items, but damn it looks good.

I dont have any hydro, but if i saw a part in person that was close, I might mix them, but so far what I have seen, I wouldnt.

You can easily mix body color hydro with black CF...they will complement each other well...Pat has nice samples that illustrate this.

My opinion isn't the popular one on here (usually isn't) but the fake stuff looks... well... fake. It might look cool, give a nice accent to something, or do a lot of things but no matter how you spin it, it isn't real. I've seen about every version of the hydro stuff out there but never have I asked myself: "self, is that real?"
