I am so glad that I have A&A's Rocker Rail Savers installed. I encountered some pretty large speed bumps today and couldn't avoid scraping even while taking the bumps at an extreme angle and as slowly as possible. I can't imagine not having the rail savers with a lowered Vette. I just hope it wasn't my exhaust system taking a beating (I won't be able to tell unless I put the car on a lift).
Anyway, if you have a lowered Vette and you don't have the rocker rails from A&A, you better get them. Don't forget to get the Frame Savers also for the front.
I avoid places with speed bumps and steep driveways all together. But yeah i need those puppies...i scrape all the hell over, however it is the nature of the game when you wanna go as low as you can.

I don't mind the air dam scraping at all. I love all my cars lowered. Some of my cars in the past were pretty messed up and looking back, rocker rail savers would have been nice to have.
I only scrape on the largest of bumps, I have yet to buy frame rails.
Why would you want to risk it??? Spend the hundred bucks and do it. You don't see them and it's just one more sensable thing to do. I scraped my lowered C5 only once and that's all it took. Next week, the rails were on and I've never looked back.
Ive never had a problem with hitting the rockers on mine. On larger speed bumps I have a problem with hitting my headers so I have to go really slow and over them at an angel.
