Intermittent Electrical Gremlins
A couple of days ago, my right blinker would illuminate solid on the dash without the blinker being on. Once I turned on the blinker it would either go off afterwards are start chiming loudly as if the blinker had been on for awhile.
Before I could investigate what's going on, this morning while I was driving, the blinker started doing its thing again and then another crazy situation developed. The dash lights started blinking on and off as well as the HVAC. And just like it started, it stopped the same way.
By the time I made it home, the blinker light was not solid any longer nor was the dash/HVAC blinking.
I gotta gremlin somewhere
Your Thoughts!!!!!

I'm pretty sure this is one of three potential problems (or some combination).
First, do a quick check of your grounds, particularly of the grounds on the DS and PS in the footwell. See: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...tion-long.html
Second, the HVAC and dash light blinking makes me think your ignition switch needs some attention. See: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ch-repair.html (I had a similar problem, except my HVAC control panel would go completely dead, and this method fixed it).
Third, your multifunction switch might be on the fritz. This post deals with headlight issues but gives instructions on how to disassemble the switch and from there you should be able to clean the turn signal portion easily. You might as well inspect and fix the headlight portion as well while you are in there. See: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...f-replace.html
Good luck!
