I turned 50 in May.
I'm an IT Consultant (self-employed) specializing in computer networks for small and mid-sized businesses. (I was a LEO in another lifetime, and dabbled in retail and real estate too).
My goal is to buy my first Vette before I turn 51! I currently own an '89 Trans Am GTA (my second TA), and a '99 Suburban.
If Vette owners are to be pitied (according to Mr. DeBord) then I guess wannabe Vette owners like me are to be doubly pitied. Actually, the pathetic Mr. DeBord should go somewhere and attempt to impregnate himself!

54 and about to be retired military.

I was late to Vettes as I was 48 before I got the Vert. The majority of people here drool over it. I've only had one bad comment in 3 years although "mid life crisis" raises its ugly head occasionally.

Dispatcher/Service Manager for an HVAC/Refrigeration Repair Co.

Turned 56 last week,in 2 weeks it'll be a year I've owned my 98 Coupe.

I've loved Vettes since my parent's neighbor brought home a brand new StingRay in 1963.

71, Supervisor Electric Utility, retired at age 55.

First Vette was a 1957 purchased used when I was 25.

Second Vette was a 1964 Coupe purchased new when I was 27 and still have it.

Third Vette was a 2002 purchased new when I was 64 and still have it.

I've had a Vette parked at my home since I was 25.
