New Camera, Old Car, Fresh Wash = Play Time
Just picked up my first DSLR camera this week and was anxious to try it out on my favorite subject.

Great pics, Jeff! Funny, we were just talking about the difference between an SLR vs. a snap shot camera like I have at coffee this a.m.
Hope things are going well for you....

Thanks to everyone else for the kind comments. Up until now, all my car pics have been taken using a Fujifilm E550 snap shot camera that I've had for years. But this one is definitely a large jump up...
It's a 15.1 megapixel Canon Rebel T1i EOS 500D. Picked it up at Costco a few days ago on sale for $849. Came with the ubiquitous EFS 18mm-55mm lens, plus a EFS 55mm-250mm zoom, nice padded camera bag, etc. Does full 1080i HD video as well. It's super easy to use and I've been thrilled with it. Here's a couple of my very first shots with it using the zoom lens. Both of these were shot through my upstairs office window glass.

That is some nice shots, beautiful pictures of your car. I like the wildlife shots also, very clear!
