They are a little difficult to apply. It helps if you have someone to help put the main part on. I took the insulator off the car and layed it in the bed of my son's pickup. Then with him helping we put on the main part of the decal. The small pieces were easy to do.

Mine has been on for over a year and no problem with it.

yeah, my worry is that the thing will fall off at some point. I'm holding off for a while longer.

The only mod I've ever failed at...fell off within a day on a brand new hood insulator.

Default Edge?

Do I see an edge around that liner? If so, what and how did you do it?

Mines hanging in there after well over a year. I needed a little bit of heat to get the adhesive to stick

The heat from the motor should stick it on good but it don't so i had to apply a bit of crazy glue here and there over a period of a month to get it right good thng the insulator don't catch fire!

I did mine and its doing great. Before you install it get a can of spray
3M adhesive and make 2 passes over the back of the decal. Put the decal in place and lightly press in to place then take a hair dryer and heat it up enough to see the impression of the grain hoodliner in the decal. Press lightly and let cool, dont put to much heat on the flags because those are like a double decal and can come apart.

Nice. Did not know the crossed flag- Vette emblem had to be adhered to the liner. Are there any liners that have that already adhered?

Any with Z06 instead of the x-flag-Vette emblem?

Where did you buy that from?

link?

thx

Interesting. No problems with bubbling from the 3M?

No problems at all so far, had it on there for several months and check it regularly just to be sure. Something like that whether a decal or painting it on really looks good.

Sure I can PM it to you if you want, I got it from a seller on that auction site. I can PM you his store name, I messed up the first one he sent and he sent me another one free of charge so I don't mind helping his business.
