I do have 4 sets of imprefect prototype shrouds i will sell knocking $50 off the price.
Hello, I would like a set, can you send a picture or give me some information on the imprefect shrouds you have. I would take a set of those if it they aren't too bad. Otherwise, put me down for a set.

I understand what you mentioned on the halos. What would you charge for the halos not installed? Or if you could provide a source for them that would be great. Thanks! Melvin

You could get them from the retro-solutions.com I believe the 80mm would be the closest you could get to fit. I have one complete set unmodified I could add on for $60.

George,

Great work! These are by far the best looking fixed light set I have seen for the C5.
I expect that you will be contacted by several vendors and I hope you have a patent on your system.

you are correct!

Unfrotionatly i wasn't about to find ANYONE local who has 10-24 stainless nylon locking nuts, so i had to make do with the 10-32s i had for the first few kits.....which unfortionatly meant that nearly 30 nuts randomly siezed up from heat of being installed and the bolts had to be cut off and replaced. Very time consuming and annoying.

you guys with the first kits won't have to worry since this siezing is ONLY caused by extreme friction heat of rapidly moving the locking nuts 2" down the bolt just a few seconds. Using a traditional open end wrench will not cause any problems.

As promised the first kits will be going out tomorrow. The only kit i'm not certain of is the only planned Halo order (prototype) the extreme cold (for the houston area) is making it difficult for the glues to set.

Now I need to decide if I take them straight to the painters or install them when I get some time as is.

First set ordered and paid for today. I hope to have them installed and operational in time for the C5/C6 Bash at NCM. I will keep George updated on the installation and have a vehicle for those who to see the installed product. I live less than a hour from Bowling Green and offer several LED conversions for the C5's. I am hoping these lights will enhance what I have been offering in this area. I will be attending the Woodard Dream Cruise, Carlisle and Effingham at a minium this year.
