Hey out there from a new poster!!...Have been looking into the possible retrofit of my 2000 convert's power antenna, not really liking the looks of this monster, with something more compact. Haven't been able to find any reason it can't or shouldn't be done with a convertible. What you say about that? Like the way this BitViper version looks and was wondering if anybody has added it to their rag top. Thanks for any reply.

I was going to say the same thing, popular mod on B5 Passat's and Audi A4's. Still got one in my tool box, when I get my Z I'll check it out.

Digging this thread up from the dead because I just picked up a used C5 and am looking for one of these antennas. Tried to PM Aaron, but no response (yet). Anyone know how to get hold of him or whether he's still selling these things?
