Default FOG light went out, LED replacement time?

Ok a fog light went out and I see this as a perfect opportunity to upgrade. What is a simple bolt in option that is brighter than stock? Pics even better.

Thanks

Toque, can you give me a little more information that the 6K HID's are "easy to install"? Any information you care to share about the installation?

Thanks in advance,

C5 Fog Light Install in a Z06 and HID Install:

If you already have the factory fog lights its super easy to put in the HID's in either the low beams, or the fogs.

Just pull the old bulb from either the low beams, or the fogs (what ever your changing to HID). Put in the HID bulbs. The factory light connector fits into the supplied ballast box, and the wire exiting the ballast fits into the bulb. Mount the ballast in a secure location, and your done.

Hope this helps.

Though I don't think this is what you are asking, but a simple upgrade to 885 bulbs will render 50w instead of 37.

That and a simple re-aim will do wonders for the amount of light put on the road. The lens still has a shart cut-off so aiming is crutial.

Good luck

Allegro: I have the 885 (50w) bulbs in my fog lights. Are you saying they are equal to or better then the 6K HID's?

HID's are way brighter than the 55w.
