Throttle Body Hook Up
Here is why I don't like to do my own work. I took the throttle body off my car to paint it. Easy, 3 bolts, a couple of electrical connects and a hose. I clean it all up, tape it all up and painted it. As I'm painting it I'm asking myself, what hoses get connected to the 2 lower pipes that are on the lower portion of the throttle body? I don't remember disconnecting any other hose but the one on top. I looked at the car and don't see any hoses that would have come from these pipes.
What gets hooked up here if anything?
Thanks from the absent minded weekend warrior!

Melting Slicks
those are the coolant lines that originally circulated coolant through the throttle body - sounds like yours has the coolant bypass hose which leaves those 2 tubes open and doing nothing.

LOL
This is EXACTLY WHY you should do your own work. To learn about whats in your car and to be able to work on it! There's nothing wrong with asking questions.
The two tubes you see on the bottom of the TB are coolant lines to warm the TB up in the event it freezes up in cold climates. If that's not a concern for you, chances are you've had a bypass installed. You can disregard them. You do not need to cap them, but you can if you prefer. Makes no difference. Some places will even cut them off entirely to make a cleaner look.
Again, tubes open will be just fine. Now...what you REALLY screwed up on...were before and after pics!
