Default Question on crank pulley!!!

Found a 04 vert with MN6. 24K on car. Paint nice, 60 + year old owner.

Car was on the forum last year now on another site.

Crank pulley has 3/16" wobble. Has GMPP for 6 more months.

Will GMPP cover a pulley with a wobble or do they wait for failure.

Thanks in advance guys!!

If you can visably see it wobble then a GM service tech should be able to see it too. They may fix it (new balancer and bolt) as there has been a rash of these over time.

They are using a new diamond encrusted bolt head to 'help' hold the balancer on the crank. Mine was compeltely out of warranty and after talking to my GM tech guy, they wrote it up and all I had to pay was $12 for the new bolt and they installed it for nothin. (There was nothing wrong with the balancer - just backed off a bit.)

BUT.. mine was wabbleing around to where it was 1 rib off and was ripping up belts, but clearly could have been seen.

I've got a vid around somewhere to show it...
