I really like the look of these seats. I want to do this mod soon, but will have to wait a little bit. I just got doing a mod fest and need to recuperate. I am anxious to hear how they are to get in and out of, too.

maybe I missed it but you still have the ability to move the seats back and forth correct and recline? I have a set of DAD's in my 91 Talon and I love teh way those things hold me nice and snug. I hate the stock vette seat they are horrible as far as quality goes.

yes they do

im 5'5, and the seat didnt adjust close enought to the peddles for me(i had to use my tippy toe for the clutch). i had to weld plates on the seat bracket and drill new mounting holes

I plan on picking these bad boys up one day.. Just need the moola...

Recaro Sportster CS

Ridiculously comfy and will fit in a C5 according to the place I went to that had them to sit in. They have a kit that takes off the one handle by the center console which reclines it to make them get in.

Look very nice, a lot better than I was expecting, not so much like a pure racing seat and more like something you would find in a 911 etc. How is the leather quality up close, double stiched?

PM sent

I don't know the exact weight reduction, but my back let me know they were lighter for sure. Especially the drivers seat

Getting the stock power tracks to work is something that has been done, I just don't know how. I sat in a guys car that had the stock power tracks, and the seats sat REALLY high. I'm 6ft and my head would have hit the roof in my Z06.

I find they are just as easy to get in and out of as stock. Only difference is that I find I brush against the side bolstering rear section a bit when getting in and out. Its not restricting though at all.

The Corbeau tracks designed for the C5 Corvettes fit perfectly, and allow you to move forwards and back. You can also recline the back to how you want it set. I have the seat set about 1 or 2 notches from all the way back. I had my stock seats almost set all the way back too. I figure they are in about the same location as the stock seats. I'm 6ft.

Can I also get a PM from a forum vendor for the same seats + shipping to 76126? I'm very tempted and it'd be nice to know how much I'd be spending.

Thanks for the info. I'm only 5'-7", but I actually wouldn't want the seat any higher than stock. I guess I'd have to sit in someone's car first before I make a decision.

Hmm, I think I really prefer the A4. The A4's are super cheap, but they don't look it. Those Recaro Sportsters look extremely cheap and tacky to me.

why yes, yes they should.
when i got my '01, it already had carravaggio seats installed. i've ridden in other c5's and, frankly, the factory seats suck.

Thanks guys !

I can't believe the new found confidence I have behind the wheel with seats that actually hold you in place.

Unfortunately, since we are giving Free shipping (Costs us over $100) AND the credit card fees($30-$40 depending on card used) there's really no room to lower the price. I can give deals on options but you live as far away as possible so the cost to ship to you is the most even though I don't charge you any more than what some one on the west coast would pay.
