Default What's and'03 50th Anniversary Edition Worth

Anyone have an idea what an '03 50th Anniversary vert (Anniversary Red) with 4K on the clock worth? There's one for sale around here for $33,800 and I think that's a bit high? I would think $31 or so???

I just purchased one, a convertible 6-speed with every available option with 11K on the clock for several thousand less than your quoted price. I determined the acceptable price range by visiting several corvette sales web pages, reviewing the advertised prices and mileage on the cars. Based on I saw, I calculated that for what I paid for my car it should have had about 43K miles, and for a car with 11K I should have paid about $33K, so your price probably isn't that far off. Keep in mind, these were just asking prices. The car is only worth what the market will bear.

Thanks, Marine One
I've visited sites as well and the numbers are all over the board. Saw one in Flordida for around $31k and others much higher...was thinking about getting rid of my 2002 EB coupe with 31k on the clock and getting the 50th anniversary but may be too much money for a retired old guy to afford.

That car should be under $30k. It's NOT a rare car and it's 8 years old.
It IS a nice car, just not rare so being an Anniversary Red 03 should not add to it's value.. The Anniveray Red AE cars accounted for one third of the Corvette's production in 2003.

Good Luck with the purchase, it IS a cool car. Hopefully you can get it for less.

The Annies are only worth $2-3,000 more than a regular 2003 on more.

I guess that's kind of my thoughts, it's a nice car but not that rare - I'm hoping for around $28 - $29k - if that doesn't work, think I'll keep my EB and be happy!

I know that I paid at the high end of the private party range for mine, but it wasn't so much the fact that it was an anniversary car as it was that it was in pristine condition. From what I found on one of the car pricing sites (can't remember which one) the fact that it was an Annie did bump its price up some. The range was quite wide on these cars, anything from about $26-$32 so in the end it's going to come down to how bad the seller wants to sell and how bad the buyer wants the particular car.

Default Keep the blue one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep yours that is a hot color, Besides right now selling a c5 is not a wise choice. I can buy c5s up to 10,000 off book at auction. And you already know your car !!
Just my thoughts here but keep searching till you find the price and condition you can live with. kelly blue book list price for a 4000 mile vert trade in is 23,800 I only pay close to trade value...The hunt is half the fun

While it is a very low mileage car and the AE package did cost about $5K more than the regular 03 cars, it still is not rare.

Nice thread revival.

You would be better off to post a for sale ad in the appropriate forum.

Dana's got an AE for sale. I would bring up an old 2010 thread with those prices, too. There's so many of those out there, you can't get premium prices today.
