03 Z06 w/2100 miles
There is dealer near by that has a 03 Z torch red, blk interior, Z16 wheels. no memory seats. also has after market cat back. He is asking $33995 but said he would take $32000 I offered $30000, he said no.
Question what is it worth?

IMHO, you made a good offer.
It's a seven year old car with only 2100 miles. Stuff starts to dry out without use. I would want an extended warranty in this case. It may have dry rot on the tires too. Some relatively expensive stuff to repair/maintain.
I bought an '04 Vert. loaded in October for $26900 with 11,500 miles. I think you can get a better deal.

Depends how you're going to use the car. If it's going to stay a garage queen, then I'd say the price is fair if it's perfect in every way. But, if you're going to drive the car and put good mileage on it, I'd pick up a clean 15-20k mile car for $25k save the money.

that is way too high...
although the mileage is very low, there is no reason for a dealer to sell a C5Z in the same price range as a C6. I have found a couple of 06 Z's for around that price.

One sold on Mecum auctions last weekend almost exactly the same mileage.. $32k.
Personally, I thought the buyer was crazy even with the extremely low mileage. In this market, you can find them in the mid $20k

Even with the low miles, I think that $32K is too high. Should be a $28-30K car IMO. For $32K, find a nice C6.

Better get them now. People are going to start to realize that C5's are in demand more because people don't really like the C6 and some are waiting for the C7.
If all sellers started selling low mileage C5's in the mid to high 20's and low 30's then there simply would not be any at the lower today's prices and they would start to get their price. Right now there is a glut of C5's on the market and it's body shape is more desirable to a lot of people then the C6's. If the demand stay's out there and the amount of quality C5's starts drying up, then the asking prices will go up. Right now you can basically get a super-car for under $25 grand.

It's worth what you offered. If you really want the car, what's a couple of grand in the long run? Throw $31,000 at him and see what he says.

$30K sounds too high unless you're in another country. I don't care if it has low miles, that's just too high. 27K max. Even then I'd think it's too much, but if it's worth 30K to you, then do it and don't look back.

I wouldn't buy a 7 year old car with 2100 miles on it. Its out of warranty and most likely everything that was a warranty issue will happen to you except you will be footing the bill. Just because it has low miles doesn't mean anything except somebody wasted alot of money on garage art. Sounds like a maintenance nightmare to me. Why people pay 10's of thousands of dollars to buy a car and park it is beyond me. Its not like its a collectible.

Thanks for all the input. My dream car has always been a C5Z in torch red or mil yellow. Like many others I don't care for the C6 look. The reason I would like a low milage car is that my wife and I are so picky when it comes to condition that anything short of perfect in my dream car is hard to deal with. Mybe I should just keep my 97 coupe, it has high milage though, 29,000
