Default Simple but effective visual cleanup!

Every time I look at my car one item sticks out like a sore thumb, the windshield wipers. They were pitted, chipped and faded. I used an automotive/outdoor satin finish black to clean these up.

I did the usual sanding and cleanup before spraying about 4 coats of paint. Not so bad if I say so myself. The paint was $2.50 but the wiper "puller" was about $13. I'll have to ask Patrick or Gene at GMParts if they have those end caps.

You sir have read my mind! I'm going to do some interior and suspension work next but I'm thinking that the cowl would look sweet in carbon fiber.

i replaced my cowl with a new oem one from Gene Culley at gmparts house. even replacing it with a stock one does a lot for the looks of the car. you may want to just remove it and see what some armor all will do for it before you decide to toss it for a new one. painting is probably also an option.

Just spray it down with Aerospace 303 protectant. It will look like new.

I hit mine with "Forever Black" 3 coats then let it cure, then hit it with Aerospace 303. Should last for years that way.

I just started using 303 myself on random stuff, and it really does bring back some nice luster/shine.

Worst case, I would go with Gene for a new one, and a amazing person to work with.
