Best Accent Color for a Medium Spiral Gray/Black Interior?
Moving right through my mod projects, I am looking ahead at some new leather and trim. I have a Medium Spiral Gray vert with black interior. I really like the black and I'm only wanting to add some small accents in color. Meaning, I will be keeping the carpet and lower console sections black.
I am considering all the major forum vendors who offer their leather accents, however I'm trying to decide on the best color. Sections/components I'm considering swapping out include; (1) center armrest/console cover, (2) shift boot, (3) shift ****, (4) E-brake boot, (5) E-Brake handle, (6) door arm rests, (7) door pulls, (8) seats and (9) steering wheel.
I'm leaning towards mod red as I think that would pop nicely, however I don't want to overlook other options. Perhaps light gray or a carbon pattern leather? Maybe a black/light black/gray mix.
Any ideas, feedback, pics?
Thanks!

I have the Spiral Grey as well with the light grey interior, combination black and light grey leather and carbon fiber goes really well together IMO..

The back part of my console is painted spiral gray. The front part and instrument surround are gun metal carbon fiber. Then there are black and gray leather on the boot, steering wheel and doors.

I was at a show earlier today and saw some nice mod red trim in a black interior that keeps me leaning in that direction. I agree with an earlier poster that the cobalt blue would work good with MSG sort of like how they mixed in the blue brake calipers into the Cyber Gray ZR1. Yellow is another interesting option and would certainly be unique with MSG.

IMO, a mod red theme would be killer on your car. Check out forum member Tomboy's car - she has that combo.

I am leaning towards some carbon fiber (like) trim on the radio bezel and center console, however I'm more interested in the leather trim. I saw some nice carbon fiber pattern leather, however I've also read that the pattern does not wear as well as regular leather due to creases, etc.

When i get my bezel back from Chris at Carskiz I will have the double din no ash tray with black hydro carbon and half wrap i can show you
You should have an email reply as well
I would think the Monaco pattern hydro would look great.

I haven't taken any pics yet, but I too have a Spiral Gray Vert. I've just completed my interior with a complete Vette Essentials kit. I had the light grey interior and I just put in black and gray seat covers, armrest, shifter boot, brake boot, door pulls and armrests. It looks pretty sweet. I also want to change my speaker grills from gray to black then I'm done. I'll probably do a double din install painted in gloss black or Spiral Gray.
On another note, did you put you ACA headlights in yet?

Yes I did! They are absolutely fantastic combined with the HID fogs and the LED Halos and other LEDs. I need to get some pictures posted. Looking forward to seeing your new interior pics as well. It sounds like you and I are working on similar mods and I would love to see your black/gray seat covers, armrests, shifter boot, brake boot and other upgrades!

i would go spiral gray on the double din. The glossy black ones are real nice looking for about 1 day. Then every little spot shows from getting in and out of the car
