I just took this pic. Looking from the top down you can see the side wall but not the tread.

Damn, them tires look good!

Mine are not as wide, but should suffice until next time a tire purchase comes around. Thanks!

Whew! What a good salesman... LoL!

Now that I've caught my breath, do you know what size tires this guys running on pics below? They resemble the Falken tires I have prepped to mount on the wheels...

My tire sizes are stock @ 245/45/17 (Fronts) & 275/40/18 (Rears); I bought these not too long ago, how well will they mount and are they safe on 17x9.5" (Front) & 18x10.5" (Rear) wheels?

What's the biggest (widest) I can go on front/rear when these tires finally wear-down (won't be for a few years though)? I'm riding at stock height....not lowered.

Thanks!

You say they don't stick out enough to mention? Does that mean they stick a little, maybe? The shots that Jhonathan provides are from the side, mainly, and I can't really tell. The tread doesn't look like it sticks out but the tire itself looks as though it does.
Does anyone running these deep dish wheels, 17 X 9.5 & 18 X 10.5, have a shot from the rear of the car showing just how far they do stick out? Maybe if someone has them and they have a camera they could take a pic from down the side of their car that forever answer this question. I know that Jhonathan would be greatful and I would be tickled to death! I'm makin myself crazy over this! I'm so ready to pop for wheels and tires, it's got my mouth watering.
Thanks, everyone, for indulging an old man!

Pete 0.- you can get these wheels in the stock widths- 18x8.5 and 19x9.5- deep dish (obviously not quite as deep) and keep the entire tire under the fender. (or 17x8.5; 18x9.5 if you want fully stock dimensions)

5ltrEATER: the tires you are using, you need to get the width wheels I just said above. 245 is not wide enough to go on a 9.0 wide front wheel. Most of these guys you see pictured are running 9 and 9.5 wide fronts.

This is stock widths (8.5 fronts, 9.5 rear) although upsized to 18s f and 19's r.

Default What Size?

What size wheels are you running of the dish wheels? 17/18 or 18/19?

Reasons why? Just getting ready to buy Z06 dish, and trying to make up my mind.

I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm communicating in the correct place.
