Who's Runnin' C6 Z06 Deep Dish Wheels... Pics Please?
Hey all,
In my quest to find the right wheel for my Vette, I've decided that I really like the look of the C6 Z06 Chrome wheels but was thrown a curveball when I found out this same wheel is offered in a deep dish style.
I like the deep dish wheels but can't decide whether I like them moreso than the OEM look. The deep dish really makes them look a lot different than OEM, more than one would think. I can find a million pictures of C5s w/ OEM C6 Z06 Wheels, but minimal w/ the deep dish style.
Anybody have them wheels? If so, would appreciate some pics (particularly curious what they look like on a Torch Red coupe), but any color and C5 would help.
Thanks in advance!

Here is a pic of the wheel I'm talkin' about for reference:

Just replaced my "flag" center caps with plain center caps
side-by-side comparison of c5z and c6z wheels
front/rear (17/18) wheel to show depth of lip

Man, those deep dish wheels look good. Seriously considering those for my next set.

Man, I've been making myself crazy pondering the same thing. My biggest concern is the tires sticking out past the fenders. Some of the shots from JWM tell me they do. That's not cool! They are such nice wheels though.... Can't seem to get an answer on this, from anyone.

They designed these offsets and sizes for the C5. They wouldn't make them where they stick out.

Thanks JW!
Whew! What a good salesman... LoL!
Now that I've caught my breath, do you know what size tires this guys running on pics below? They resemble the Falken tires I have prepped to mount on the wheels...
My tire sizes are stock @ 245/45/17 (Fronts) & 275/40/18 (Rears); I bought these not too long ago, how well will they mount and are they safe on 17x9.5" (Front) & 18x10.5" (Rear) wheels?
What's the biggest (widest) I can go on front/rear when these tires finally wear-down (won't be for a few years though)? I'm riding at stock height....not lowered.
Thanks!

You say they don't stick out enough to mention? Does that mean they stick a little, maybe? The shots that Jhonathan provides are from the side, mainly, and I can't really tell. The tread doesn't look like it sticks out but the tire itself looks as though it does.
Does anyone running these deep dish wheels, 17 X 9.5 & 18 X 10.5, have a shot from the rear of the car showing just how far they do stick out? Maybe if someone has them and they have a camera they could take a pic from down the side of their car that forever answer this question. I know that Jhonathan would be greatful and I would be tickled to death! I'm makin myself crazy over this! I'm so ready to pop for wheels and tires, it's got my mouth watering.
Thanks, everyone, for indulging an old man!

What is your definition of sticking out on the C5?
Top of the fenders (what I mean when I say they sit flush) or the bottom/sides under the side marker?
Certain angles will make them look different, but on my screen none of the pics above show any sticking out.
