Default Radiator cover and air bridge woes

So it looks like I have the issue with the Vararam power duct where it sits up to high so it won't meet up with the airbox. If I remove the radiator top cover, it fits fine. Can I leave the radiator cover off and call it a day or will I need to hack it up so I can put it back?

Thanks,
Jake

Do you have the right Power Duct, they have one for early series C5's and later series..
I incorrectly ordered an early series, the vendor was great and had the correct one swapped out in no time.

Don't leave the radiator cover off. Don't hack it up either. Take a look at my install on 2004 coupe. My hood shuts fine.

It's the motor mount issue. Contact VR and they'll hook you up.

Bummer. yea looking at the pic above my engine is about 1"+ lower so it's causing the duct to angle upwards. I'll call Vararam. Thanks!
