Hi, my name is Doug, (loudsam). I'm a modoholic too! There's is nothing I've done so far that I regret, but, I've done alot of research before I did/had done/ the mods that have been done. I've spent in the neighborhood of 9 to 10 thousand dollars above the cost of the car. I don't think it will ever end, but, I've slowed down a little for the time being!

“Resistance is futile, you have been assimilated into the collective called the Borg Vettes.” You have fallen into the trap as the rest of us have. I too was naïve once and thought I could resist the Borg Vette, but no one can resist.
Mods done to date:
1. Rear window tint
2. Sound dampening kit
3. Custom stereo system with Ipod
4. Stainless Steel letters front and back
5. Painted fuel rail covers
6. Painted air bridge C5 emblem
7. Painted C5 emblem on hood liner
8. Z06 replica chrome thin spoke wheels
9. 3D C5 emblem on steering wheel
10. 3D CORVETTE letters on the air bag
11. Chrome tip exhausts
12. Cup holder
Mods left to do:
1. Paint brake calipers
2. Chrome exhaust plate
And there will be more to come I am sure, it never ends!

Uh-oh! The mod bug has bit you and now you're infected. It's going to cost a lot and I don't think you can be cured...ever.
Mods I've done? Let's see, not too much yet but I've only had the car for 11 months...
Borla quad round tip stinger cat back exhaust
Corsa X-pipe
20% window tint
Painted calipers
Blackouts all the way around
Acrylic lettering front and rear
Steering wheel decal
Door sill decals
Air bag cover decal
Best mod for me thus far would definitely have to be the Borlas. Cheeziest mod? That would have to be the stoopid acrylic lettering. Started falling apart about a month after I put it on. Looked cheap as he11 too. If I was to do it again I'd go with the SS inserts. But now that I've had them off for a while it keeps looking better and better with nothing on it.
BTW, I've got some bilstein sport shocks, a Halltech Stinger and some LGM Lt's on back order. I'm also in the process of researching camshafts and after that will begin my quest for heads.

5 years??? You're a better man than I am. I lasted all of 1 week. It all started off very innocently with a license plate frame, then floor mats, a few stickers....now 5 years later, I find myself with new wheels, air intake, exhaust. Now I'm getting headers, high flow cats & x-pipe. Going with 3.42 gears later this year...It never stops!!! And most of these mods were done way before I discovered the CF. The forum only fuels the fire!!!

Welcome to our world. I'm amazed that you made it the first 5 years with your car stock. I lasted a month.
BTW Trigger Creep, that pic in your sig is awesome!
Happy modding!
