Unless JW's starting another thread for just keeping track of the shrouds, should still be some more fun to be had here!

I am VERY interested in these lights, but there is NO way I am going to buy them until I get some idea as to what the shroud will cost and an approximate date for it. It has been over 1 year with no progress on the shrouds. So it makes me very nervous about the completion of the shroud.

Well that was because from what I understand they have had trouble either making them or finding a source to make them. Now that I have jumped into this it should go a lot smoother and quicker. My manufacturer already told me they would make them and could even expedite them so it doesn't take too long. From when we start I think we should be able to get them in 7-8 weeks or so. As mentioned before I will try to make sure these can be offered for under $100 for the pair. Im hoping in the $50-75 range but unfortunately I dont control that.

I posted this in the other thread, but we had requests to offer this GP shroudless so we're doing it. I understand what you're saying and I'd rather wait until the lights are 100% ready myself. In the meantime we'll fulfill the demand for shroudless.

This is the first time we've offered these for sale so expect more on these in the future. Stay tuned

Bwahahaha this video was posted back in 2008....OH EIGHT! By some guy in Germany and he's fit it with what's called "Scheinwerferreinigungsanlage," or for those of us in America, "headlamp cleaning system."

It's crazy to think someone had this done PLUS his own one off addition years ago, when we're just now getting around to a GB on a shroudless set of Sun Guns.

Just glad we're getting around to it.

Default Ironic you'd post pics of one of the German ones...

...shroudless, too...

Correct me if I'm wrong JW, but wasn't there two low rise sets floating around Duetschland and to me this looks like the set that cost around $1300-$1500 (back in '09) after converting euros to dollars?
Without the sweet bug washer of course...

Initially we went with the other, less expensive and poorly designed cheaper one when this all started, I believe...

Default Waiting on shrouds

Subscribed.

I'm saving my change for this one. One of the few mods that I go for that is mostly due to appearance. Yes I know that they light up the road much better than stock, which is a requirement for me. But that just looks bad a**, streamlined and updated.

I'm wanting to see the shrouds first though.

Yup, read all three, was looking at the Visteon Lights at Corvette Central then ran across this thread looking for a hood liner. Anyway I did find them at JWMotoring. Thanks for the reply and will probably invest in a pair after summer when the toy is garaged for the winter.
