JWM Projector Lights- Lower Opening Version- Thread 3
John, I'm pretty sure I didn't mentioned what state the airstrip is in...

...but, if you're serious, you're absolutely welcome to meet me in Idaho and join my little road trip.

I'm hoping to get some old-school aerodynamic testing in and get video of the airflow around the opened, shrouded SunGuns. I plan on simply taping 6" sections of knitting yarn to the body in places and taking video of what the yarn does.
Hi Tom,
I too live in deer country.

And elk; And cattle; And horses and any number of animals or things that can and will mysteriously wander into the road at night...

These lights do exceedingly well at illuminating oncoming hazards on dark unlit rural roads.
I've also installed my own version of the Hi-4/6 relay harness mod so my HID Lo beams stay on with my HID Hi beams and/or my HID Fog lights. I see livestock and wildlife well off the side of the road 1/8 mile out when the Hi's are on. Even with just the Lo's I have adequate reaction time. They work!
Thanks

Yesterday I started the production process and I am waiting to hear back as to cost per set and time frame. I'll post up the numbers and dates when finalized. At a minimum I will be ordering 50 sets (100 pieces), maybe more depending on price. This will cover everybody that has purchased shroudless SunGuns and leave at least a dozen sets available for new SunGun sales.
I have to get the prototypes packaged up for shipping in the next day (or so) but I will be posting pictures of the finished and mounted shrouds as well as a brief explanation of how they attach and install, before they get boxed.
Thanks to EVERYONE who has been involved!!

Way to go, Michael!

Who is interested?

As such I hope you (and everyone) will be happy to know we will be getting the shrouds done in genuine carbon fiber, made in the USofA. Not far from you as a matter of fact...
Ya, no kiddin' right?
I have to go fight forest fires to relax now after all this...
Thank you for sticking with it!!

Ya, I guess maybe a shame Ed.
But I have to say and I know you'll appreciate; Ohhhh, the things I've learned along the way!

You sir, have been a true professional to deal with and a true friend sharing that professionalism, helping and guiding me.(with wit and an occassional verbal NCIS/Gibb's slap to the back of the head...
)

Not sure if I'll be more envious of you in a C7 or if you'll think the opposite once we finish what we have in store for the C5 crowd...

...we shall see, eh?!?!

These pictures turned out pretty well and you should get an idea of what the finished product will look like.
