I am having some issues with my Active Handling dystem. I can be driving along and all of a sudden the active handling light comes on and it feels as if the rear brakes are trying t osolw down my rear tires. This cuts in and out of=ver a few seconds and then goes away. In the mean time it causes my cruse control to go off. Has any one else experienced this and how did you fix it?
You need to have it repaired. I had the same issue and it was a wheel position sensor. I had the dealership correct the issue. I have an extended warrenty, so it only cost me $100.00, but I believe the total price was somewhere around $400.00.
I forgot, did you pull the codes to see what was there?

If you know how to pull the codes off the DIC, post up what is displayed and that should help narrow it down. If you don't know how to pull up the codes, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the procedure.
bob.downes@earthlink.net. I usually prefer to do my own repairs. I use it as stress relief. The only thing Iam having to get used to is how to get the car off the ground. I have a floor jack and jack stands but it is much lower to the ground than my previ0ous cars. I am considering a Back yard Buddy, have you had any experience with one?
