Discount Tires Direct or Tire Rack....help please
Please post your experience with one/both of these...I can't decide on who to go with...Discount Tires Direct is a little cheaper but I don't really care about that...thanks for your opinions

I've always had good experience with Tirerack.Order online and they will ship to an installer in your area.
I always credit Jim( jim@tirerack.com) with my purchases.

I've ordered my current tires (nitoo neo gen) from discount tire. They were friendly and professional. I actually found my front tires from a different internet site, and the rears from tire rack. Discount tire beat both prices with shipping included so it worked out great for me. Good place.

Had good luck w/Tire Rack. Had them ship to one of their installers & had them on the vette in a few days. I've got chrome wheels & the installer didn't due any damage & used the inside the wheel weights, very happy with the total transaction...

I have had very good luck with Tire Rack. Fast/Smooth they shipped right to my local installer! Fantastic price and very happy with them and will definately use them again in the future!

I've purchased several sets from Tire Rack, I have no experience with Discount Tire. While Discount Tire was slightly less expensive I still bought from Tire Rack because I also purchased there warranty which after in-depth reading determined that it was a better policy then Discount Tires.

Bought Michelin RFs from Discount Tire Direct. They had the best price I could find among the internet companies & the local brick/mortar shops. Ordered & had them at my door in 2 days with free shipping. I've also bought tires from them for my daily driver. Very happy with both transaction with DTD.

I have been dealing with Discount Tire for 25 years and have always been pleased with both the price and service, both are outstanding!
I had purchased new Michelin tires for my 86 Pace Car Vert and 9 months later one of them had to be replaced but the tires had changed and they could no longer get a matching tire so they contacted the Michelin rep and worked out a deal and I ended up with 4 new tires for very little money.

I've purchased tires from tirerack and discount tire many times (probably 5-10 times from each place). Tirerack has much better research/test data and selection, discount tire has free shipping so if they have the tire you want, they will probably be a couple of bucks cheaper. Never had an issue with either and wouldn't hesitate from buying either one.

Had a poor experience at Discount Tire with my daily driver. Went there based on favorable reviews from here on the Forum. Perhaps the Discount store I went to was substandard to other locations. Based on my transaction and multiple follow up visits to correct their mistakes, I would NEVER make another purchase at Discount or allow them to further screw things up on any car of mine.

just purchased from Discount Tire Direct and they were very accomodating......Kyle is the man. Since there are alot of posts recommending Tire Direct, I don't think you'll have a problem with either.
I think your time is better spent locating a shop to mount them. I had mine shipped/mounted by one of their (Discount Tire) stores and the assistant manager did the mounting. He scratched my rim removing the weight.
