I use Sams too. I add Techron every few thousand miles and have had no problems. I get Techron at Wally Mart and it is cheaper that gas stations.

In fact I add periodically add Techron to all my vehicles.

Just add a bottle of Techron to the tank every now and then.

Of all people,,BP took over all the Chevron stations in the entire Bi-state area(Mo.-Il.)!! I've been running Shell V-power 93 for over 2 years with no problem. How ever I do drive it a LOT,,so my gauge gets regular exercise,,and I do ad a bottle of Techron every month or so FWIW!! No signs of ANY gauge problem,,and she runs just FINE!!

Chevron I think only runs techron as per my tuner the guy is on point he is the number 2 in the state of AZ, and if you use it once in a while (a bottel) is ok. Shell has the Nitrogen, plus the same additive that equals techron, and a few more detergents than Chevron.

Too much of a anything is not good.

Try Texaco, they have the same Techron additive. Chevron bought out Texaco a few years ago so all Texaco stations now have Techron in their gas.

And here in Mississippi, on April 1, 2010, Chevron purchased some BP gas stations in Mississippi and changed them to the Texaco brand, and on 20 April 2010, the Deepwater Horizon exploded.
