[PICS] C5 gets freshened up by Katech
A local customer recently picked up her new (to her) 2001 Torch Red Corvette. It was immediately sent to Katech for some upgrades and cosmetic freshening.
Cleaned and powdercoated calipers
Hawk pads
Racing Brake slotted rotors
Racing Brake braided lines
Halltech Venom intake
FAST LSXR 102mm intake
LS2 throttle body
Corsa Pace Car exhaust system
Corsa x-pipe
Put down 330rwhp through an automatic and sounds great!

Sharp looking ride. I like that FAST intake.

Good stuff but the tips are mis-aligned from left to right the first two are perfectly horizontal. # 3 is way high by almost 1/2 inch, and # 4 is low to the first two.. meaning the right muffler is horizontally canted high on the left low on the right, bring the # 3 tip down will bring the # 4 up. and correct this. Just some honest feedback... I know if I put those on, I would not post a photo of them looking like that. Especially as this is your business. I don't have to ask if they are crocked, the other poster was just being kind.. I don't tippy toe around an issue. I do not subscribe to the notion that if you don't have anything good to say, keep your mouth shut. If I looked at them and didn't comment I would be doing the member ( owner ) a dis-service. If everyone said they look good they would be lying.. just because they were brought up with the my mama always told me syndrome.

Yikes!!
The only other one I've seen on the forum like that was distorted by photoshop. Didn't think that was the case on this car. Easy fix though.

Little tip>>>take a short 2x4 place below the tips and push up on until they all contact the wood, then tighten.

I have a LS6 with Vararam/AFR head/LG cam/LG Pro headers. I have always wondered if a LSX 102mm intake and LS2 TB would help me or not.

I have similar to your setup except heads, and I eventually want to do a heads add-on to go with my comp cam and am probably going to swap intakes and throttle body at the same time.

Shame on me for posting the picture of the exhaust a little early. Exhaust systems always move the first time they heat cycle. We almost always end up re-adjusting after the first heat cycle. We have since adjusted and they are perfect.
The FAST 102 worked well on the stock LS1. The car made 330rwhp through an automatic on a Mustang dyno. We were pretty happy about that.
