Run Flat tires
Have a C5 Covertible with the performance package. Considering non run flat tires replacement. Does it in fact give a better ride ? Will it affect normal driving conditions ? Have Kumo on now - not pleased - did have Michelin Sport before. Anyone have experience running non run flat. Tks

I was running Toyo T1R's and I loved them! I went up to a 285/40/18 in the rear and left the front stock size. The ride will be 100% better. Now I have the T1R's up front and Nitto 555r 305/35/18 in the rear.

Search is your friend, Most have gotten rid of the runflat tires, The ride is so much better and it really makes the ride a lot quieter.
Most carry AAA, Cell, A compressor, A plug kit and assorted tools just in case seeing the C5 doesn't have a spare.

Tks Mr. Bill - many of the search threads indicated that the new Michelin AZP's were pretty good balance

Yes, non-runflat tires gives a smoother ride and a lot less road noise.
