Just bought a pair for my C5 Z06 - trusting that they are as advertised. I will report back once received and installed.

Ordered mine this past weekend! Looking forward to being able to see better when I'm looking backwards ... at night.

Weren't you offering a pre-cut interior sound deadening material kit earlier? Didn't see it on the website but am considering adding some insulation early in the new year.

Maybe a dumb question: Nobody said if are brighter and from picture look a little dimmer than the stock version so wondering if these produce more candle power and/or project any better than stock? Is the beam range more narrow than a standard bulb (similar to what I've commonly seen with LED spots) or does it provide a sufficient span? Would like to know if these serve as a functional improvement or decision to get these is simply based on liking the look of bluer reverse light?

They are not dimmer, just produce a different light color output. These will not enhance your current setup unless you choose to go with our clear diamond cut back up plates. They are on sale for $109.99 right now

I have the same diamond cut backup lenses that you sell (on the car when I bought it). With this lens, do the LED bulbs produce a different light pattern compared to a stock bulb or is the color temperature of the LED bulb the difference in brightness??

My 02 has some very dark tint on the hatch and it's hard to see towards the rear using the rearview mirror when backing up.

Yes, the light pattern is 100% directed outward toward the street behind you. They are very bright when using the diamond backup plates. Most people see a noticeable difference.

Ordered two (2) sets - needed since the S/O also has a C5 and would be upset if I did a mod, and she did not

Do you need an equilizer(load resister?) with these LEDs? I've tried other
LED bulbs, and they still emit some lighting when not in use

We have not run into that problem with these. No resistors are required.
