Caliper color help
I have an AW FRC with Titanium color Forgestars and need some input on what color to paint calipers. I want something different than the typical red or black.
I am going to be using the G2 Caliper Paint after seeing many good reviews on it. I have a set of C6 Z51 calipers and brackets on the way, so painting them off the car is not a big deal.
I am thinking either a blue similar to the ZR1's or maybe a white or yellow.
What do you think?
Here is a pictures of the car for reference.
Color swatches:
Yellow
White
Light Blue
Blue

I like the blue or of course red will work also. As for the white, I don't think it will stand out that much plus you have the brake dust issue. Yellow is definitely out. My opinion only.

I think red is the way to go, but of the three you show, I'd go with blue.

your brakes won't work if you paint them white
they will be marginally better if you paint them yellow
they will stop the car from moderate speeds with the blue
and slam it to a stop on a dime if they are red

I am probably going to do the darker blue. Red is over played and I want something different.
Thanks.

You have nothing else on your car that is blue. It's gonna look like the odd man out.

What about black?
Definitely not white, Won't stay clean for long, same goes for yellow. Darker is better when it comes to brakes.

Blue would look really good
I went red with my car and I understand what you mean about it being over played but my car is red and I didnt feel like I had any other options.

What color is you interior? If blue; go with blue. if black then go with black, red, or blue; if red the choice is obvious.
White and yellow show brake dust too much.

Your car is SCREAMING for "RED" calipers!!! IMO that would set it off right...
However, you didn't ask for my opinion, so of the three colors posted, I'd say try "WHITE," that'll be more subtle and won't pop like blue or yellow.

I would do Red as my first choice but my car is red. I don't think you could go wrong with the darker Blue either though.
