Take the car to the dealer.....replace both door switches & ignition switch. New switch will be programmed to new key. Reprogram key fob. Dealer can do this for a small fortune.
or:
Buy new ignition & door switches, install yourself (not nuclear science), reprogram fob. About as simple as you can get. Probably a tech on this.

The key disables the alarm regardless of fob, nothing you can do but have the car re-keyed if you are going to worry about it. Honestly doubt she will do anything.
She would have already severely damaged the car if she was going to, which would hurt more than the vehicle being stolen. If she took it then it was to **** you off, not because she actually plans on following through with anything.
Grand Theft auto over a lover's tiff, I'll pass.

Hide a GPS Tracking unit on the car. Notify police about the situation. And IF it ever got stolen, you can track it with the GPS and contact the police asap.

1. Call her up, ask her to dinner
2. Ask her to marry you
3. After a good round in the sack take your keys out of her purse and run like hell ~~~
Total cost, $200 for dinner.

Go home and go to sleep. In the morning when you wake up, look out in the driveway and completely flip out when you see the car isn't there. Call the cops and report it stolen. Eventually the cops will find the burned out hulk of the car and quickly deduce that it was destroyed by arson. They will look at your report from a few days before and see that your ex-girlfriend had stolen the key and she will be the prime suspect. It might help if you leave some dirt or mud or ash from the area where you dump the car on her front porch... Insurance will replace the car, she'll go to jail, you'll feel better. Its win/win

Guys...... most of this stuff (unproductive posts) is NOT helping me or anyone else who has had this issue or similar.
Please don't fill my thread up with violence or terrorist ideals. This does not make us look like the classy people us Corvette owners are.
Please keep the jokes for another time. This is a place where a lot of people come for help. I am here asking for help to re-program my car, fobs, ignition keys, ect.....
Please, if you are going to chime in, please make it a productive post that we can all maturely learn from.
I LOVE this forum when we all work together to accomplish a common goal and help each other out.

I would chalk that one up as WIN.
Scenario #1 breakup w/girlfriend loose key and fob to corvette.
Result-replace key and fob. If she did take the car, insurance would hopefully pay and you get a new corvette for free (basically, minus deductable). If she was going to steal the car she probably just would have taken it. If she did take the key, it was probably just to make you worry about.
Scenario #2 breakup w/wife and lose corvette
Result-replace corvette with your money.
Be glad it was just a girlfriend and just a key and a fob. Replace them if you need them and forget about it.

Have the beeoch arrested for theft.
Playing games will only make it worse.

Dude... Get on with your life... You can't even be sure she even took it!
Call her, ask her, If you still suspect she has it, ask for it back. If she refuses, let her know you have filed a police report and she is on the top of the list. Re-program the remaining FOB and find a better woman. This time, never offer her a key to your car! Lesson learned..
Moving on.....
