Hey Tall Forum Members...
I'm tall...real tall 6'7". What type of interior modifications if any have you made to allow maximum comfort while driving your C5?

I'm not sure there are any other mods you can do to allow for more room, but I'm willing to hear what the creative C5 Gen folks have to say.
Also, I kinda screwed myself by replacing the lower driver's seat foam with a new one that is stiffer than the original foam. Problem is, I sit about an inch higher than I did with my worn out seat foam and now it's fairly uncomfortable to drive. I thought it would help by giving me more support, but it ended up being more uncomfortable.
.......however I'm sure glad I'm not short...because that would cause other problems. I'm willing to put up with the trials and tribulations of being abnormally tall.

You can yank a couple springs out of hte seat. This will greatly diminish the life of your foam, though.
if you have an 02+ (maybe 03+?) coupe, the halo intrudes more into hte car, too. I'm running a halo from a 99 in mine.

6'6" and I removed the dead pedel. It was EZ and gives you more foot room, cuz if your over 6' I doubt you're wearing size 8 shoes . Also try moving the seat a bit forward and that will allow you to recline it some. That will give you more head room. Over all I have found this car to be very roomy and fun to drive for a tall person.

Using a glass top instead of a painted top gives more headroom because there is no headliner. Expensive if you don't already have it. I am going to try the seat up some to put the back further back. 6-4 and only real discomfort is the right knee rubbing on the console.

6'5" here and comfortable as is. Seat is as low as can go and leaned back against the wall. Wearing a helmet makes me have to scrunch a bit but do-able. I'm so glad someone made a sports car I could fit in....

I also ditched the motorized seat track, and got a set of sliders with the seats, so I gained about ~3 inches of headroom. I also have a C5 convertible, and as I understand it, the rag top gives you a bit more headroom then the hard top. Keep in mind, if you get these seats, you need to be on the trimmer side, 36-38 inch waist is about the max.
Other then that, I found getting a padded console lid also helped comfort levels, since the stock lid doesn't provide much cushion for your elbow, and when you're tall, it's always hitting the console lid. Between those two mods, I feel like there is about as much room as you are going to get in a sports car.
