Default XSPower 2.5" Catback Installed

Just installed my cat-back earlier this week. Bought this exhaust from Superman09, great guy and service! Fast shipping and the packaging was professional. Swapped out an unknown aftermarket system for this XSPower system and LOVE it. Installation was a brezze. I chose this setup due to all the positive reviews on this exhaust. Very glad I chose this system. Have cruised in the car, no drone, and sounds amazing under WOT. Sounds great at idle too. My dad liked the sounds and looks so much, I just placed an order for another system for his 03' C5. If anyone is on the fence for a great exhaust PM Superman09.

Thanks

I have personally done R&D for them along with a few other people! Also, surely they have things made overseas but the American Muscle line is made here. I personally have done R&D and sent in my changes to receive new changes back in 2 weeks or less! This has been beaten to death. If you don't have something good to say and are just here to try to ruin someone's good experience, please stay out is all I ask.

That's up to you if you choose to support that, but I won't. XSPower has blatantly stolen from Greddy, Tial, Garrett, Quaife, multiple header manufacturers....no thanks. Those companies are making products to improve the performance of vehicles for which we are enthusiasts. You think if the well ran dry XSPower would do R&D...hell no...lol. They have nothing to back up their products...it's all stolen.

If XSPower made a Corvette knockoff you'd be cryin big...guaranteed.

Like I said, to each his own....if your happy with it, that's all that matters.

It's amazing what some exhaust work can do....had my straight pipes put on a week ago and I can't seem to keep my foot off the go pedal....now I HAVE to put on LT's so the car has some more bite to go along with it's bark....

The sound difference from an exhaust system upgrade is intoxicating for sure! Gotta be careful you don't want to "hear it" too much or your insurance might be going up

As you said..."everyone is entitled to their own opinion"...and you are also; but before you hop on your soapbox, you might want to do a little research on some of the companies that you are so quick to defend. Quaife is an English owned company, producing drive-line components for OE, and aftermarket, automotive and mc applications.....produced, primarily in the UK--not the US, and imported to our markets due to a demand. Greddy is a Japanese owned company (with US distribution based out of CA). Of course your point was that these companies invest, where as others, like SS Auto Chrome (AKA: XS Power) merely copy existing designs. That may, in fact, be mostly true; however, you are apparently to young to know much about how the Japanese developed many of the wonderful automotive offerings that we all can't get enough of today. Read a little history and you will learn that their early offerings were (to borrow your term) "terrible"; but to their credit and vision, they took our and some German products and reverse engineered them into some of the "best in class" products in a few (about 20 actually) short years. Relative to quality, I read many of Jon's (Superman) posts, talked to him personally--a couple of times, and found three others who had ordered and installed the header and x-pipe systems on C-5's (the cat back wasn't available yet). I felt that the product was well made (straight flanges, excellent weld-work, and the fit and finish was excellent)----delivered to my house for $800 complete. Now complain if you want; but, if the Importer was stealing designs there is not doubt that our local manufacturers would sue them out of business. If the locals bring something unique to the market that creates or satisfies a demand, they will still be able to command a premium price; but if it is a "same as" product, they need get competitive to retain that market or find something else to produce.

Yes, they are starting production on both the catted and offroad here in the next couple weeks once their 2 snowmobile projects wrap up. I would keep your eye out in the for sale section here shortly for a KILLER sale thread on them I'll add you to my list of people to contact for when the thread goes up!

For those that keep posting in this thread about where something is manufacturered or your polical beliefs/preferences we have a section in Off Topic for you. I would suggest you start a thread in the Politics, Religion and Controversy Section to express your views. Interferring in threads is a violation of the CF rules. Just a friendly note at this time.

I posted last night a question to superman about being made in USA or not....

He responded that they were.

All of this removed by mods........

Relax boys.

Its an exchange of information about the qualities of the product being discussed. Can we only post nothing but glowing reviews of products sold be vendors of this site? My exchange ended up being a positive quality about the product that apparently was in question in some people's minds. The removal is questionable and makes me wonder about how many comments that are removed just because they bring up something that may be a potential downfall of a product. Is this an honest exchange or not?

And for what its worth so it doesn't get removed.......If I could talk the wife into spending $630 right now and since they appear to be made in the USA(a point removed by mods for whatever reason), I would have a set of these on mine as we speak.

It's not that it was removed as it was negative. It was off topic. That exact subject has been beat to death in multiple threads here on this site. I have been told from day one by XSPower that all Corvette and 2010+ Camaro products are made here stateside. When these bashes come up and people make accusations based on other products and past instances, they see them and ensure me they are USA made stateside. What was deleted was a post stating random cars and items and where they were made, zero relevance to the thread or XSPower catbacks. Keep on track and all will stay well, they just don't want to see another of the same thread going astray
